Guest Lecture: Green Extraction Of Bioactive Natural Compounds
(Sept 2, 2025 9.00–11.30 AM)

This lecture drew considerable interest, particularly from students eager to learn about sustainable methods in chemistry. Dr. Ajmal demonstrated how “green chemistry” principles can be applied to the extraction of bioactive molecules, reducing solvent waste and environmental impact. Participants were inspired by case studies on using plant-derived solvents and energy-efficient techniques, sparking questions about adapting these methods in small-scale laboratories.
