Study Program Laboratory
The Master of Chemistry Program at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) is supported by comprehensive and modern laboratory facilities to support student research and practical work. Various laboratories, staffed by experts and equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instruments, support the in-depth and practical development of chemistry. The following laboratories are available:1. Analytical Chemistry Laboratory
This laboratory focuses on the qualitative, quantitative, and electrochemical analysis of chemical compounds in various matrices. Supported by instruments such as fluorescence, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometers, this laboratory significantly supports research in the environmental, food, and health sectors.
2. Biochemistry Laboratory
This laboratory is used for research and practical work related to biomolecular chemistry, enzymes, proteins, antibacterials, and molecular computing. This facility is ideal for research intersecting with biotechnology, health, and pharmaceuticals.
3. Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory
Focusing on the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of inorganic compounds and inorganic materials, the laboratory supports research into advanced materials such as catalysts, adsorbents, coordination compounds, and metal-modified materials.
4. Organic Chemistry Laboratory
This laboratory is used for the synthesis and analysis of organic compounds, both natural and synthetically derived. Research in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and natural product chemistry is conducted.
5. Physical Chemistry Laboratory
This laboratory provides facilities for research in the fields of thermodynamics, reaction kinetics and computational chemistry for computer-based chemical modeling and simulation.
6. Basic Chemistry Laboratory
This laboratory supports students’ basic practical activities, especially for understanding the basic principles of chemistry through simple experiments that introduce various methods of analysis and synthesis.
